The Miss Venezuela 2011 pageant started officially on July 11th with the distribution of the state sashes to the 24 contestants. This year's final will take place at the Studio 1 of Venevision in Caracas, on October 15th. The winners will represent Venezuela in the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International pageants in 2012.
